I still feel weird when I sketch there, cause the people don’t know me, and I don’t know them. I feel like I’m doing something wrong, even though I’m not. Some people just assume you’re not paying attention.

Some people just assume you’re not paying attention. A looser interpretation, this is “the place in my head” idea. It’s also a delayed post, cause I was tired and finished it in the middle of the night, with a slight touch-up this afternoon. I need to work on the next one.. . I’m not thrilled with the execution. I didn’t bother to look in the [...] Today was a quick and simple drawing. I chose to use a comic book like style, with a few colors, graphic style and thick black lines. It’s a building on 6th Street, which I saw and took a picture of, last February 6th as we walked around the Lower East Side, to celebrate our anniversary.
