After I made mine, the boys wanted to make their own. What to make one? Go make it here. Making quick sketches seems to be no problem. I am able to sketch just about anywhere, and make quick work of it, if I choose. Yesterday, we went and met my parents in Stroudsburg for a late lunch, while they were on a weekend getaway from New York City. Afterwards, we went and hung out in [...] Wow! What a morning! A super good one! I woke up hearing [...] My birthday was full of surprises, just the way I like it! Fabio took the day off work, so we could spend it together. After we dropped off Phoenix at school, Fabio took me to a place we’ve never been to before, called Tom’s Restaurant. It’s been there since 1936. It’s in Brooklyn, but it felt [...] It’s hard to get a hold on to the mix of emotions one has at Christmas Eve. There’s expectancy, and excitement. The celebration and advent of Christ’s birth. Also, the expectations of giving gifts and receiving them as well. There’s longing sometimes, when you might not be with the ones you [...] Has anyone ever tried to get a gerbil in New York? We have. It’s been over a year since we’d wanted to get a gerbil for Willik. Actually, we thought we’d get 2, to appease each of the boys. But who says we can find 2. Most pet stores I’d [...] If you can call 2 weeks an era, then ours has come to an end. We are about to head back to New York today. We’ve had 2 weeks of true relaxation, with some family time mixed in. |
