Watching birds in our backyard, has become one of my favorite activities. We’ve been using the binoculars which abuelo gave us last Christmas, and the boys are enjoying this as well. Even though temperatures have dropped dramatically in the last few days, we can still watch them from our kitchen’s bay window. It’s awesome!
This is a sparrow. They are the “common” bird around, but even they, when perching, have a very regal look, and it’s nice to get my camera and take some photos to get a closer look. I only see some of the details once I upload these photos. Of course, it makes me want a zoom lens, but that just has to wait.In the meanwhile, I will paint some of the birds I’ve photographed. Here’s the first one.
