drinking healthy for a month

If you know me well, you probably know that I don’t drink enough water.  As a matter of fact, I probably don’t drink enough liquids, period.

Well, I’ve made a personal pledge to change that.

This month, actually I started yesterday, July 6th, will be a month of drinking only water, and my morning coffee with less sugar than usual.

No sodas, no juices, no smoothies or milkshakes.  No iced tea or iced mochas either.

I’ll do this til August 5th.

I just know I need to be healthier, and since hot summer days the only thing that quenches thirst is water anyway, then I figured it’s the best time to try and be healthier.  I hope I see some good results in my body as well.

Anybody doing anything else health wise?  Please share and encourage me to keep it up.  I’m sure I’ll need it by next week.

  • Hey glau! good for you! I’m not drinking soda this month either, and i’m also not eating chocolate–at least until the florida trip… hope to see some results as well… I started a couple of weeks ago, and i’m still surviving, so you’ll manage!!

    Excelente ideia. Eu tambem estou tentando comer menos coisas doces e nada de “junk food”. vamos continuar nos ajudando e desafiando umas as outras. Incluir a sua familia nesta ideia sera uma boa medida tambem. Beijos!

    Awesome, amor! I didn’t realize that last night when I got you seltzer water. I guess seltzer water is still water, so it’s okay. Water is so much more refreshing than anything else anyway. Let’s keep it up!

  • Wow, i hope you are able to keep it up. I’ve been trying to include more fresh/raw fruits and veggies in our daily life. a lot of times at meals now, I will include a fruit salad and veggies with dip (the unhealthy part) as sides.
