A week ago yesterday, the boys and I, along with my parents, returned from a 5-day journey to Canada. A good time was had by all, though we missed Fabio a lot.
It’s become tradition that every 2 years, we get together with the Canadian Williks(my mom’s side of the family), in order for the cousins to keep in touch.
It was nice timing because we got to meet the newest member of the family, my cousin, Vania’s 5th child–Emerson. He was 6 weeks then, and we, along with his aunts and uncles were meeting him for the first time that week. We also got to see fireworks on July 1st–Canada Day, although we missed celebrating July 4th here.
I’ve put a bunch of photos up on my picasa account, so everyone who feels like, can take a look. I’m reserving a few of the prized photos for the photoblog, so check that out in the next day or two.
This is effectively our only vacation this summer, so I think we’ll have to go somewhere in the fall.
