As you know, we’re moving, Although we have a nice, strong wooden loft bed, Willik has a strong wooden loft bed, and Phoenix has a custom made wooden bed with a bookshelp headoboard, we cannot take these with us. Our bedrooms at the new house have low ceilings, and we won’t be able to fit these in [...] Our boys have been climbing the walls. I mean, literally…. watch this video… That’s the hardest thing about the summer. The boys just have energy galore. They have no school. So I have them all day, and I’m trying to come up with a variety of activities. We’ve gone out everyday. Trips ranging from [...] the boys and I have been surviving without an air conditioner. We have not had the pleasure of putting our window unit in, because there’s just too much going on. That’s also true of the mini van, which needs a booster of that special air stuff. I bought it right before the super high temps weekend [...] Like I mentioned in my facebook status a couple days ago, I wish I had a magic genie to help us pack. Someone asked me last week what percentage of our stuff we had packed. I said, more hopefully than realistically, that we had done maybe 20%. When I told Fabio, he said we had done [...] A week ago yesterday, the boys and I, along with my parents, returned from a 5-day journey to Canada. A good time was had by all, though we missed Fabio a lot. It’s become tradition that every 2 years, we get together with the Canadian Williks(my mom’s side of the family), in order for the cousins [...] I gave birth to another wonderful boy named Phoenix. He came 3 weeks early, and he was still huge, weighing in at 8lbs. 14 oz. He was a strong baby, who at 9 months could push his booster seat table off, and push his chair back and forth so strongly to the point of pushing it [...] If you know me well, you probably know that I don’t drink enough water. As a matter of fact, I probably don’t drink enough liquids, period. Well, I’ve made a personal pledge to change that. This month, actually I started yesterday, July 6th, will be a month of drinking only water, and my morning coffee with less [...] The home front news has been quiet. Two weeks ago, both our realtor as well as the seller’s realtor were out of town, and so was the seller. Now everyone’s back, and there has been a constant flow of info, but I’ve missed most of it since I was roaming in Canada last week with [...] A few years ago, a friend’s birthday party was a costume party, and Fabio and I dressed up as Bonnie and Clyde. It was a lot of fun, and I think our costumes really worked. There are also some other famous couples , such as Romeo and Juliet, Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, Fred Astaire [...] Yes, I think we all have those. The thing is, because I’m a pretty happy person, I usually don’t spend too much time thinking of those negative things. But if I take the time to slow down and look closer, those are all around.
