Yes. The seller signed the release so we are now out of the contract, and we will get our deposit money back. Wow! What a morning! A super good one! I woke up hearing [...] We got word that the septic failed yesterday. There’s a possibility that a new septic might not even be approved by the Board of Health. What then? unfortunately, there are some big things that need to be done. Things like septic replacement and/or repair, and water/moisture damage that needs to be repaired. This is where things start to get tricky. Where I start to wonder whether this house is the one. Yes, late last night they accepted our offer! Yahoo. I’m excited but cautious, as now we will have to get past the inspections. We will be going up on monday to watch that happen. Please pray for us and that there won’t be any major problems. That’s what I try to do, but it’s hard to know [...] We made the original offer yesterday evening. This afternoon they countered, barely going below their asking price. So, we counter-offered later this afternoon. Now we wait again… Keep praying… I’m trusting God knows best, so I’m not anxious or worried. I just wish tomorrow would come quicker. Maybe that’s why I’m still awake… A great victory has happened today. We’ve put an offer on a house. That’s it on the left. It’s sorta the back of the house and garage, and a bit of the backyard. It’s not the perfect picture, but it at least gives you a visual. We are so excited. After looking at hundreds of [...] Mother’s Day is a wonderful day, and I’m glad Anna Jarvis wanted to honor her mom. That’s what kids should do. Honoring and respecting everyone is not just a nice thing, it is what makes or breaks any relationship.
